We’re sure you’re all busy organising your travel arrangements for the day and would ask for these to be allocated to the 3C project code so Finance can keep a record of this expenditure.

Parking

For colleagues who are car sharing and parking at Derby Arena the car park has been prepaid for the day – there is no need to scan the car park QR code or register your vehicle with Derby Arena. Parking is FREE.

However, please note the barriers to the Derby Arena car park will close at 10pm, locking in any cars left in the car park overnight. The barriers will reopen at 7am the following morning at which time the parking charges will be in effect once again. Should you wish to leave your car here overnight, please be mindful that you will have to pay a charge from this time on Saturday morning.

⭐ 10.30 am – 11.00 am      Registration
– Conference registration will be open between 10.30 am – 11.00 am. There will be teas, coffees and snacks available.

⭐ 11.00 am – 12.00 pm      P3 Marketplace
– There will be a P3 Marketplace exhibition area with representatives from each P3 area and a marketplace treasure hunt for everyone to meet, mingle and find out more about what’s been happening across P3. Everyone who completes the treasure hunt will have the chance to win an amazing prize. All will be revealed on the day!

⭐ 11.30 am – 12.45 pm      Lunch
– A delicious buffet lunch will be available from 11.30am, this will overlap with the P3 Marketplace to ensure everyone has time for refreshments.

⭐ 1.00 pm       Conference opens

⭐ 2.30 pm – 2.45 pm      Afternoon break

⭐ 2.45 pm      Conference continues

⭐ 4.00 pm      Conference closes

Prayer rooms will be accessible throughout the event for colleagues observing Ramadan.

Parking

If you’re planning to drive to the evening event, there is lots of parking across the city centre and you may wish to browse to find the cheapest option. However, the closest available parking is an NCP car park on Liversage street (DE1 2LD) just a two-minute walk away.

Food & Drink

There will be music, entertainment and delicious food from a selection of pop-up food carts pulling in flavours from all over the world. Plain or spicy, savoury or sweet, we have it covered. 😋

The food and drinks will be organised on a first come, first served basis, so if you do have a dietary need or preference don’t delay and order at your preferred food stand.

Dress Code

Lots of you have been asking about the dress code, please just come as you are! Our best advice is to layer up a little as while there is heating, Bustler isn’t a small, enclosed space, it is a large industrial warehouse, formerly used as a chocolate factory. Plus, if we have some spring sunshine and a little warmth the doors will be open, and we will be using their outdoor area.

Last orders will be at 11.30 pm and the celebration party will finish at midnight.

Holiday Inn Derby – Riverlights, Morledge, Derby DE1 2AY

The hotel recommends parking at Basement Car Park, DE1 2NF as Riverside Car Park is now closed permanently. The car park is a five-minute walk and a discounted rate of £8 is offered if you enter your car registration details at the hotel Reception. Please note there is no access from 1.30am – 6am (Sun – Thurs) & 3.30am – 6am (Fri – Sat).

Travelodge Derby Pride Park, Prospect Place, Millenium Way, Pride Park, Derby DE24 8HG

The car park is operated by Horizon Parking on behalf of Travelodge. Spaces are available on a first come, first served basis. Parking is £3 for 24 hours for hotel guests.

Pay for parking at the car park pay and display machine, via QR Code, phone, Horizon website or Horizon parking app. Blue Badge holders are exempt from charges. Please make the reception team aware of your Blue Badge and registration details when checking in.

Premier Inn Derby City Centre (Riverlights), Morledge, Derby DE1 2BB

There is no on-site parking available at this hotel. Chargeable off-site parking is available a 5 minute walk away at Siddals Road NCP (DE1 2PY) at £5.95 for 24 hours, or Assembly Rooms Car Park (DE1 3AF) at £4.50 for 24 hours. Both car parks are open 24 hours.

⭐ If you are no longer able to attend the evening celebrations and stay overnight due to unforeseen circumstances, you will need to discuss this with your line manager. Where there are exceptional circumstances the fee for the hotel room will not need to be repaid.

⭐ Please note for your health and safety and to be compliant with fire regulations you do need to use your allocated hotel room.
