It was the young people who brought to my attention that 1 October was Nigeria Independence Day. They wanted to mark it because one of the young people in our placement is Nigerian and new with us. So it was a great way for everyone to introduce themselves and celebrate the occasion with her.
SHOUT OUTS OF THE WEEK
Hey, you! You with the good news, the great achievement or the landmark birthday …
Congratulations to Annette Dyer who is a cleaner on the Cirencester team on 10 years at P3! Annette, who started in 2013, was delighted with the award and told the team about the changes she has seen during that time. 3 locations, 3 managers and lots of stairs!⭐
This is Karen Cross – The Highland Warrior – our fabulous in-reach/outreach worker on the Derbyshire and Staffs Moorlands Outreach Team. Last week, she tackled drug dealers, adult social care, the police. She’s supporting some very vulnerable complex people who without her wouldn’t be getting the support they need!🏆
A massive thank you to to all our brilliant volunteers who prepared and cleared the room, registered people, ushered and generally did everything to make sure the day ran smoothly.❤️
