For this blog we are here to introduce the team, their service and who they can support as well as welcome them into our P3 community!  

Remember the purpose of our blog is to celebrate all the amazing things that you’ve been doing across P3 – so please get in touch with any stories, images or shout outs that you would like to share with us via comms@p3charity.org! 😊  

P3 Rotherham will be a gateway for the people we work alongside to access other services and more long-term support such as accessing employment, education or training. Alongside support and life skills, the service will help build positive support networks between the people who are supported within the community.  

Aimed at supporting families and individuals aged over 18, the service is funded by Rotherham Council and is referral-only via Rotherham Council’s Homelessness Prevention Team.

With Christmas round the corner, a lot of you have been getting in touch with us with your Christmas cheer… Here’s a round-up of what we’ve been sent…  

Be Well Service in Derbyshire had a Christmas fundraiser to raise money for the people they support by offering trips throughout the year to improve wellbeing and tackle isolation within the community. Some highlights from 2024 include bowling, pumpkin picking, walks and a trip to Matlock for fish and chips.  

In Hillingdon, Chepstow House School donated a wide range of Christmas presents for the children at P3 Play to open over the holidays to make sure every child feels the magic of Christmas this year. Also in Hillingdon, MACE very kindly organised a raffle in aid of P3 services this year following the success of last year’s £5000 fundraiser which helped purchase Christmas gifts for the people they support. The raffle was a great success – thanks to everyone who got involved, well done to the lucky winners across the organisation!  

In other news, as many of you will already know Workplace has announced it will be closing soon. Ahead of this P3 will be closing it’s account on Workplace from Friday 27th December, so from that date you will no longer have access to that page. This is a little announcement so you have time to save any wanted images, and keep your eyes peeled as we’ll be moving to a brand new space very soon! 👀
