The venue was Derby Arena this year and there was plenty of space to fit us all in!

Here we are, together again! Conference recognised the fantastic achievements of everyone over the past year and saw rewards go to teams and colleagues who go above and beyond every single day to support the people we work alongside.

The day started with the P3 Marketplace, where each region had created their own stand focusing on their services and the support they offer. It was the perfect opportunity to catch up with colleagues from across the organisation!

Mark gave an inspiring keynote speech, reflecting on our achievements and our future aspirations.

Followed by presentations from across the organisation showcasing services and best practice!

Linda Hamilton and the P3 Play team gave us an insight into the fun activities they get up to wrangling children and having lots of fun with play!

Charnjit Kaur won the People First Award.

The Maintenance Team won Behind the Frontline Team of the Year.

We played the Weakest Link and learnt a lot about People Shaping P3. Including a surprise visit from Anne Robinson herself, who has an uncanny resemblance to Lisa Burgess …

Jen Kralj & Simon Allcock won the Changemaker Award.

We celebrated the colleagues who have been with P3 for 10 years!

And here are our colleagues who have been on the P3 team for 20 years counting! Their dedication and long-service is out-of-this-world!

The Derbyshire Outreach Team won the Frontline Team of the Year Award.

Kate Hand won the Leader of the Year Award. Here’s what she had to say:
To be named winner of the “leader of the Year” award came as a total shock to me. You might have seen it on my face!We have so many visionary leaders at P3, so to even make a shortlist is epic!
I have been with P3 for 21 years now (yes, I know, I don’t look old enough, but I pay good money for this now) and I feel like my work is never done. There is always more to do, more to improve.
I started as a 19-year-old with no real aspiration as to what I wanted to do with my career. I quickly knew this was the job I could do for life because it wasn’t a job. Its more than that. People do need leaders to help guide them through all sorts of situations. I believe a good one does so being authentic, trustworthy, kind, and keeping a good sense of humour.
We are all leaders in one capacity or another. Let’s have the courage to be the best we can be and take everyone with us on the way up! 😊
P.S. Chris Ayres is the real hero. A truly remarkable woman who has taught me a lot!

Mel Leicester won Colleague of the Year Award, which was an award voted for by colleagues at the conference.

Adam Hackett, Chair of the Board of Trustees, and Gill Moy, Chair of the P3 Housing Board of Directors, delivered the closing remarks including motivational speeches about the important work P3 is doing to change and shape our communities for the better.

The conference closed with a confetti shower to end our daytime celebrations!

Then it was on to Bustler for our evening celebrations!

The dinosaurs were out in full force having a roarsome time!!

The photobooths were in full swing!

Tess made the most of the psychedelic dip!!
